INKTOBER 2019
Created by Jake Parker in 2009, "Inktober" is an international art challenge that consists of drawing one drawing per day between October 1 and October 31, following a list imposed themes. Alinalalala wanted his 31 "INKTOBER2019" drawings to be part of his DRAW ME A LINE series, with the same graphic and symbolic codes: a line and a simple message, and a lot of second degree. She plays with the themes by diverting them in her own way, with the words and the medium, like a child would. The children's drawings are authentic, touching and fun, because they are loaded with a striking lucidity. This is what she is looking for through these drawings: to let the little girl in her express herself, so that the big one never gets bored…. While seeking to provide an emotion, whatever it is, in the viewer.
