For alina(lalala), education is essential and primordial; educating oneself - educating.
HOPE#3 symbolizes this education, on the one hand by its format reminiscent of blackboards, but also by the technique used; to follow through with her idea, alina(lalala) used “blackboard” paint and pastels, which refer to the chalks found in classrooms.

The gaze on oneself, on the other, on the world, the gaze of interiority, is a reflection that comes up in a different way, but recurrent in the works of alina(lalala).

As a general rule, his works are not reduced to a simple coloring of surfaces: his assemblages suggest “the underlying”, a simple reflection of the mysteries of the visible.
